We smoke these delicious oily Irish mackerel at high temperatures over a number of hours meaning they are ready to eat either cold in a salad or pate alternatively they can be heated up and made into a savory pasta dish , curry etc.
Wild Irish mackerel, landed in Castletownbere, West Cork. Smoked & produced in Kenmare, Co. Kerry.

Never had mackerel before. Seen Paul Treyvaud cooking these amd said I’ll chance them. Glad I did. The smoky taste is beautiful and will definitely order them again. Lovely with scrambled eggs and toast

Yummy, I loved this. Not the biggest fan of mackerel but was told to give smoked mackerel a try and was glad I did. Had it cold on a piece of toast simple and tasty. I’ll definitely be trying it again
