Using our 40 year old recipe, we smoke our mackerel the old fashioned way. Slowly smoked for over 16 hours using the shavings of only oak trees to give its unique aroma.
Wild Irish mackerel, landed in Castletownbere, smoked & produced in Kenmare, Co. Kerry.

Never had mackerel before. Seen Paul Treyvaud cooking these amd said I’ll chance them. Glad I did. The smoky taste is beautiful and will definitely order them again. Lovely with scrambled eggs and toast

My regular and favourite item. Its unique flavour and perfect taste makes it the key ingredient with salad, pasta, or just bread and butter.
Yummy, I loved this. Not the biggest fan of mackerel but was told to give smoked mackerel a try and was glad I did. Had it cold on a piece of toast simple and tasty. I’ll definitely be trying it again
I said I would try something different, I like smoked salmon and I like fresh mackerel so I said I would give this a go. My first time having smoked mackerel and I was not disappointed. Very happy with it and will try it again.
