When you buy from our website, we want you to be happy with your purchase. However, we know there are times when you may need to return an item to us. The below sets out when you can return an item and how.
If you change your mind
If you change your mind and no longer would like to purchase the product, we can offer a refund within certain time periods. This is up to 24 hours before your delivery due date. If you fail to notify us before your order leaves the premises, your order will not be refunded, as your order will have been prepared specifically for you and the fish will be wasted.
If you receive an item that is damaged or an unsatisfactory quality
If you receive an item that is damaged or an unsatisfactory quality, you can hand it back to the driver at the point of delivery. If you discover the issue after the driver has left, please contact us within 72hrs of receipt of your delivery by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org providing information of the issue along with your order number. If an item is to be returned to us, we will arrange for collection from the delivery address.
If you are not home for your delivery
If you are not home when our delivery driver arrives, they will make every effort to contact you using the contact details you have provided. If no contact can be made, our drivers will leave and take your order with them. They will not return later in the day as they will leave the area to complete other orders. Your order will not be refunded, or delivery date changed at this point, as the original order has been prepared specifically for you and the fish will have been wasted.
Receiving your refund
If you are entitled to a refund, this will be returned to the payment method you originally paid with. The refund should show bank in your account within 2-3 days, but in some cases depending on your bank, may take up to 7 days to appear. In the event of a refund, all loyalty points applied for the refunded item will be removed from your Star seafoods account.
