Hake has seen its popularity rise ten fold over the past decade, it’s a softer more delicate white fish than cod and we handle it with care throughout the filleting process, without being over powering it has a slightly stronger flavor than other white fish. €14 for five 200g portion.

Wild hake is sustainable, caught using either gill nets, seine nets or trawl caught. Ours is caught off either the South or West Coast of Ireland and landed in Castletownbere.
